Mark D. Wilkerson
Mr. Wilkerson's practice encompasses communications, public utility, health care and general business law, and includes representing clients before federal, state and local administrative bodies. He has served as counsel for buyers and sellers in acquisitions, financing and mergers in the technology, communications and utility fields and businesses in litigation involving contract disputes, stock rights, property issues, state and local taxes. During his career, Mr. Wilkerson has been appointed by the state to serve as an administrative law judge in the health care, licensure and environmental fields. He is also a certified mediator in the State of Alabama.
Mr. Wilkerson is active in church, community and civic affairs and served for 15 years on the Board of Directors of Prison Fellowship Ministries. In 1993 he was appointed to the Governor's Alabama Emergency Prison Task Force. He has also served as chairman of the Alabama Bar Association Administrative Law Section, Communications Law Section and the Standing Committee on Correctional Institutions and Procedures. He attends Christchurch in Montgomery, Alabama.
