Members of the firm have represented public utilities and communications companies in litigation, contract negotiations and regulatory matters before state, federal and local regulatory bodies, including the Alabama Public Service Commission, Federal Communications Commission and Alabama Department of Revenue. The firm has extensive experience in negotiating contracts, franchises and similar agreements and has successfully defended utilities in challenges to right of way and similar user fees.

The firm serves as a virtual “general counsel” for smaller businesses, maintaining corporate books, reviewing contracts, providing employee training to comply with state and federal requirements, and handling other functions.
